Typically, fix-it tickets can easily be taken care of.  All that is necessary is that you take your vehicle into a law enforcement station and get the ticket signed-off by an officer.  However, in certain circumstances, major problems occur.  For example, when the vehicle cited is not your vehicle and you have no real means of fixing the problem and getting it signed-off. The real problem happens when a Failure to Appear fine gets added to the citation.
